Oaxacan Coastal Break
With our excursions to the Pacific coast of Oaxaca, its lagoons, beaches and fishing villages, you’ll get to know a wide variety of people and places, including Laguna Ventanilla, Lagunas de Chacahua, the village of Mazunte and the beaches of Puerto Escondido, Bahias de Huatulco and other lesser-known hidden beaches.
Here we can organise boat trips, fishing trips, visits to ecological reserves such as the Mexican Marine Turtle Center and various other activities such as hiking in the jungle, sea and river kayaking, white-water rafting and surfing lessons.
Sample Itinerary
Leave Oaxaca
Day 1: Stop in the forests of the Sierra Sur where we’ll spend the night after a hike.
Day 2: Arrival in Mazunte. Rest of the day free.
Day 3: Visit to Laguna Ventanilla. Brief lecture on the crocodiles and birds in the area.
Day 4: Visit to the magical waterfalls at Copalitilla, where we’ll camp for the night.
Day 5: Visit to Huatulco (snorkelling and boat trips). Return to Mazunte
Day 6: Breakfast and then return to Oaxaca. End of tour.
Includes transport, guides, accommodation in bungalows (including a night of camping), breakfast, and lunch.
