Trekking in Santiago Apoala (E1, E2 and E3)
Located in the Mixteca region of Oaxaca, this beautiful locale is made up of canyons, caves, and waterfalls, and has a variety of attractive activities for the visitor, including mountain biking and rock climbing (sporting and traditional). Because of its location in a canyon, the sun takes time to heat up the surrounding land. The result is a fresher climate with cold nights and fresh, clear mornings.

The excursion lasts 2 days and 1 night and includes transport, camping equipment, experienced guides, food and drink.

E1 : Easy
Excursion suitable for any person. No equipment is carried. Special training is not required.

E2 : Medium
Excursion suitable for people with minimum fitness. Equipment and belongings need to be carried personally.

E3 : Difficult
More than 5 hours of walking per day. Personal and group equipment needs to be carried. Difficult natural environment with some climbing involved and abrupt changes of temperature and weather conditions. A good level of physical fitness is required.
