Trekking in the Valles Centrales (E1, E2 and E3)
Made up of 89 municipalities, the region offers a wide variety of microclimates, vegetation, and soils. Historically the region is Zapotec, with some Mixtec heritage. The temperatures normally vary from 12°C to 25°C

Treks available at all levels E1, E2 and E3

E1 : Easy
Excursion suitable for any person. No equipment is carried. Special training is not required.

E2 : Medium
Excursion suitable for people with minimum fitness. Equipment and belongings need to be carried personally.

E3 : Difficult
More than 5 hours of walking per day. Personal and group equipment needs to be carried. Difficult natural environment with some climbing involved and abrupt changes of temperature and weather conditions. A good level of physical fitness is required.
