Rock climbing in this beautiful location in the Mixteca region, 70 kilometres and 3½ hours from Oaxaca, is ideal for practicing both traditional and sporting rock climbing, with routes that range in difficulty from 5.10 to 5.11. Other available options are trekking and a visit to the waterfalls and caves.

Leaving Oaxaca at 09.00 for Nochixtlán, from there we climb along a dirt road to the village of Santiago Apoala, where, at the end of the day we will eat dinner and rest at the campsite. The next day, after a large breakfast, the activities begin. Climbing or a visit to the waterfalls are two of the available options, and the day will conclude with a light hike to the caves and viewing point, after which we will return to Oaxaca, arriving at about 21.00.

The excursion lasts 2 days and 1 night and includes transport, camping equipment, experienced guides, food and drink.
